The next phase of START is the development of STARTiN...START Idea Network. The primary goal of STARTiN is in motivating children to fully develop their ideas through a process they can relate to.

Bob Gatzen and Billy Ashbaugh have begun shooting an innovative DVD series designed for classroom viewing. The pilot program will demonstrate the basics of idea making with subsequent presentations providing actual techniques for kids to discover and develop their idea making skill through involvement in the arts. Each program will feature high profile guests who attribute their success to ideas and art.

The pilot program will feature, Emeril Lagasse from the highly popular food show..."Emeril Live". Also Doc Gibbs, Emeril's music director, will be accompanying him. The pilot program will tackle the question...what is an idea? In this case, the answer will be, An idea is a recipe. We'll leave the rest to your imagination!

There will be music, interviews, interaction, and tons of fun for the kids.
